toddler

There’s no manual to raising kids.

Some days I try to follow a tight schedule, and other days I go with the flow.

One day my toddler likes nuggets, and the next day he doesn’t.

Sometimes I know why my infant is crying, and other times I try everything until she’s happy again.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom! I’ve dreamed of it my whole life. Some days are harder than others, but I already knew that. While I love being a mom and spending time with my kids, sometimes I run out of ideas to keep them busy! I know many of my fellow moms feel me on this.

I also LOVE cooking and baking, but sometimes dealing with a picky toddler and his “beige phase,” i.e., only eating nuggets, fries, crackers, etc. (a.k.a. all beige foods), gets exhausting, and I run out of ideas of what to feed him!

Before having kids of my own, I worked with children for over 10 years! As a former preschool teacher and a mom who loves spending time in the kitchen, I’ve had friends and family ask for tips and advice, and it makes me happy knowing that I can make their lives a little easier!

What’s comforting is that I know so many other moms going through the same thing as me. And while I don’t have all the answers, I still enjoy sharing what’s worked for me in hopes that I can make a fellow mama’s day a little easier! We’re in this together!

That’s why I created this space.

I plan to share my experiences as a mom, along with what I’m making in the kitchen and ways I’m keeping my babies busy! In doing this, I hope to save you the extra step.

Gone are the days where you spend hours on Pinterest only to end up saving pins that are completely unrelated (been there 😂).

If you no longer want to dread weeknight dinners or bored toddlers, then this blog is for you, and I’m so glad you’ve stumbled upon my little corner of the internet.

Welcome!
